1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Grovik (the "Service"), operated by Holm Marketing, a sole proprietorship registered in Denmark (CVR 45285014), based in Gråsten, Denmark ("Grovik", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

2. The Service

Grovik is an AI-powered platform that researches keywords, generates SEO-optimized articles and images, and publishes content to your connected website or platform. Features may change over time.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for activity under it. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

You choose a billing period - monthly or every 6 months - when you sign up. That is where you enter a payment card, and it is what creates the subscription. If your account gets the free trial described below, nothing is charged when you sign up: the Service runs in full during the trial, including writing and publishing articles for your website, and the first payment is taken when the trial ends. Otherwise the first payment is taken when you sign up, at the price shown to you at the time, and nothing is written or published for your website until that payment has succeeded. From the first payment on, the Service is billed in advance for each period.

New accounts get a 14-day free trial on their first domain. A payment card is required to start it, and nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, the plan you chose is charged automatically to that card and the subscription renews from then on, unless you cancel before the trial ends - which you can do from your dashboard at any time during the trial, and then nothing is charged. We email you before the trial ends. A domain you add during the trial is charged from the day you add it; only the first domain is free. The free trial is offered once per customer. A trial under our earlier three-article trial that was already running continues on the terms it began under until it is used up, and choosing a plan is how it carries on after that. Pricing is per domain: your first domain is charged at the price shown on our pricing page and every additional domain at the lower per-domain rate shown there, and all of them sit on one subscription with a single billing period, not a separate subscription each. Every renewal is one invoice covering every domain. When you add a domain partway through a billing period, the part of the period that is left is charged straight away on its own invoice. A domain added during the free trial is charged the same way, from the day you add it until the trial ends. From the next renewal - for a trial, the day it ends - the new domain is on the same invoice as your other domains. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We may change pricing for future billing periods with at least 30 days' notice.

5. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime from your billing settings. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which it will not renew. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

6. Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of the website content, brand information, and instructions you provide to us ("Your Content"). You grant us the right to use it solely to provide the Service to you.

Articles, images, and other content generated for you ("Output") are yours to use once generated. AI-generated content may not always be eligible for copyright protection under the laws of every country, and we make no guarantee either way. You are responsible for reviewing Output before publishing it, and for ensuring it complies with applicable laws in your own use.

We do not use your content to train third-party AI models.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to generate unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content, to attempt to extract or reverse-engineer our underlying systems, to build a competing product, or to circumvent usage limits or security measures. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.

8. No Guaranteed Results

We do not guarantee specific search rankings, traffic, or business outcomes. SEO and AI search visibility depend on many factors outside our control, including the policies of third-party search engines and AI platforms.

9. Third-Party Platforms

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (such as WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, and Ghost) and with custom webhook endpoints you or your developer configure. We are not responsible for outages, changes, or issues caused by those platforms or endpoints.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost data. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use after that constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence also apply, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence.
